  • Healthier

I have noticed a difference in my waistline—less bloated. Taking last thing at night but have to sit up for a while to digest the capsule, l do take with lots of water. Had a few urgent bowel movements that have taken me by surprise 😲. Definitely want to continue.

  • Foggy brain bye bye

The first and most noticeable symptom was the foggy brain . Probably 2 weeks into the first pack. In the second pack now, I noticed less anxiety pre menstrual.

  • Anxiety symptoms improved

I'm halfway through my first packet of the probiotics. My awful anxiety symptoms experienced in the morning are definitely alleviated. It also encourages me to eat in the morning when the anxiety is at its worst. I have the probiotic with porridge. I'll keep on going with my three month course. Thank you

FAQs

Your questions answered

Can I take The Better Gut throughout perimenopause and menopause?

Our supplement has been specifically formulated for perimenopausal and menopausal women and so assuming you fit into this demographic, our product should be for you. While probiotics are generally considered safe for most people, there are certain situations where caution is warranted, especially when combining them with other medications or treatments. By consulting with a healthcare professional, such as a doctor or a pharmacist, individuals can receive personalised advice based on their specific health situation, medications they are taking, and potential interactions between probiotics and HRT. This ensures their safety and allows for optimal health management tailored to their individual needs.

Is The Better Gut safe to take with HRT?

Yes. The Better Gut is safe to take with your prescribed HRT.

How do I take it?

1x capsule each day. Best taken first thing in the morning or last thing at night. Perhaps just before you have your breakfast or just before you head to bed.

What is the probiotic free from?

  • Artificial colours, flavours, preservatives
  • Allergens
  • GMO
  • Animal ingredients
  • Gelatin (capsule is vegetal from hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose)
  • Fillers and binders
  • Gluten
  • Dairy

What is the significance of 50-billion CFU?

CFU stands for colony-forming unit—the standard way of measuring the quantity of live strains in probiotic supplements. It refers to the number of live, active microorganisms present in one The Better Gut capsule. We pride ourselves on our optimal dosage - 50-billion CFU, enough to have an impact but not so many to overwhelm the delicate balance of the gut microbiome.

Is it safe to take post cancer treatment?

The Better Gut has no known contraindications for use following breast and ovarian cancer treatment but you should always check with your Doctor first. It is safe to take alongside aromatase inhibitors.

Use is not advised in patients with severe immuno-compromised conditions and at risk of opportunistic infections and in those with badly damaged GI tracts.
