It refers to the number of live, active microorganisms present in one The Better Gut capsule. We pride ourselves on our optimal dosage - 50-billion CFU, enough to have an impact but not so many to overwhelm the delicate balance of the gut microbiome.

The Better Gut has no known contraindications for use following breast and ovarian cancer treatment but you should always check with your Doctor first. It is safe to take alongside an aromatase inhibitor like Tamoxifen.

Use is not advised in patients with severe immuno-compromised conditions and at risk of opportunistic infections and in those with badly damaged GI tracts.
