As the festive season twinkles on our doorsteps, it's a time filled with laughter, twinkling lights, and the warmth of family gatherings. But amidst the festivities, have you ever wondered how this season feels for women experiencing menopause?

Intrigued by this thought, we reached out to 383 wonderful women navigating menopause. We were curious to understand how they felt the festive cheer impacts their symptoms and well being. The responses we received were not only insightful but also a bit of an eye-opener!

So, What did our survey reveal?

  1. Festive stress is real: An astounding 77.8% of our respondents shared that they found the lead-up to Christmas stressful. Juggling preparations, family members and expectations can indeed be a hefty load to carry.
  1. Menopause symptoms on the rise: Over half, precisely 58.2%, reported their menopause symptoms intensify during this period.
  1. An uptick in anxiety levels: A significant 69.7% experienced heightened anxiety during the festive season. The bustling nature of the holidays seems to contribute to this increased anxiety, intertwined with the physical changes of menopause.
  1. Self-care often overlooked: Interestingly, only 5.5% of these remarkable women said they put their own well-being first, with many focusing on family needs, highlighting a crucial gap in self-care that's often missed during these times.
