FAQ's
Can I take this alongside HRT?
There are no known direct interactions with standard HRT, but we always recommend speaking with a healthcare provider if you’re using prescribed hormones.
Can I combine this with other Better Menopause supplements?
Yes. Better Libido can be taken with Better Gut, Better Metabolism or Better Night. We suggest taking Better Libido in the morning and Better Night for the evening to balance energy and calm (our 'Renew Bundle')
Is this just for sex drive?
No. When we talk about libido, we mean the full spectrum of drive: the physical, mental, and emotional energy that fuels connection, motivation, and self-confidence. Sexual desire is part of that, but it’s not the whole picture.
When should I take it?
We recommend taking Better Libido in the morning with food, as it contains energising herbs that may be stimulating if taken later in the day.
How long until I feel the effects?
You may notice increased energy and focus within 1–2 weeks. Libido support may take up to 4–6 weeks, as the body responds over time. Consistency is key.
Words From Our Experts
Jo Lyall, Head of Nutrition - Dip.Nut, mBANT, CNHC
Jo Lyall, nutritional therapist- explains why Better Libido could work for you.
"Over the past year, I’ve had so many honest conversations with women, both within The Better Menopause community and in my nutrition practice. Again and again, they’ve told me about the noticeable decline in their libido since entering perimenopause.
This is exactly why I created Better Libido, together with women's health specialist, Dr Shahzadi Harper. We’ve poured so much care into this formulation to support the full spectrum of loss of libido, not only desire, but also energy, vitality, spark, and drive."
